    Connie Viera

I‘m Connie and I’m the owner of Death Moth Studio.

I’ve been obsessing over hair for the past 9 years. I pride myself in giving our clients the most seamless color + hand tied extensions.

The studio is a space we created to invite peace and relaxation. There is so much culture in and around our space.

Our community drives us to give back , be grateful and appreciate the small things.

If you’re looking for a laid back, aesthetically pleasing place then this is the gem for you. Let’s find the perfect look!

Can’t wait to meet you xx

    Emily Rose Johnstone

    Hey, I’m Emily!

I’ve been behind the chair for about 8 years now, and I’m still obsessed with helping people feel like the best version of themselves. My chair is a space for connection, creativity, and real conversation — where we work together to create hair that feels intuitive, effortless, and totally you.

As an Army wife and mom of two, I know what it’s like to juggle a full life and still crave a moment of calm. That’s why I love creating low-maintenance, lived-in color and soft, wearable styles that fit seamlessly into real life — without sacrificing style.

The studio has this cozy, moody energy — and it’s become my favorite place to create and collaborate.

If you’re looking for an easy-going, aesthetic space to refresh your look and your energy, you’re in the right spot. Can’t wait to meet you and dream up something beautiful together. ✨

  • Frankie Garza

    Frankie Garza

Hello! I’m Frankie and I’ve been behind the chair for 4 years, primarily working as a barber and focusing on precision cutting and personalized grooming. Recently, I made the decision to step away from the corporate salon life to pursue something that feels more creative, intentional, and aligned with the kind of experience I want to offer my guests.

I believe your time in the chair should feel restorative and collaborative — a safe space where you can relax, refresh, and leave feeling like the best version of yourself.

Outside of the salon, my husband and I share our home with our dog and three cats. In my free time I play in a sand volleyball league, I like to spend time watching tv shows with my husband (currently Abbot Elementary, the Pitt, and always RuPaul’s Drag Race), and having game nights with our friends.

My favorite thing about myself that I find I share with so many people is my love for music. You can always find me listening to something—while I am getting ready for the day, working, driving, sitting on the patio with a cup of coffee or glass of wine (depending on the time of day)—so come vibe with me and let’s create some magic. I’m so excited to meet y’all and become part of this amazing community!

  • Tommy Nguyen

Hi, I’m Tommy—originally from upstate New York, now based in San Antonio, Texas. With 6+ years behind the chair, I specialize in lived-in, dimensional color for both blondes, brunettes and the in-betweens, creating soft, blended results that grow out effortlessly.

Whether you’re going brighter, richer, or just need a refresh, I focus on hair that looks natural, elevated, and easy to maintain. My chair is your time—talk, vent, or completely unplug. Good hair, good energy, and a vibe you’ll want to come back to.

I can’t wait to have you in my chair—book your appointment through the salon and let’s get started.
